Happiness-Jordan Harder

Happiness is driving down a dirt road and enjoying the wind blowing in your hair; it is a sense of serenity, nature, freedom, and solitude.

  1. I like your definition. It could be that a person would disagree because they dislike driving in the dirt and like the windows rolled up at all times. Also, a person might feel happiness in other ways, without the sense of serenity, nature, freedom, and solitude.

  2. Solitude? does one consider being isolated from the rest of society as happiness?

  3. Is happiness the feeling that you get when you drive down a dirt road? Or is it the action of doing so? I think that your definition needs further clarification. I think the simple definition should not be an analogy because driving down a dirt road does not necessarily evoke happiness for everyone.

  4. This is arguable because not everyone views happiness as driving down a dirt road. You might have to define serenity and solitude though!

  5. I agree with the other comments. Not everyone enjoys driving down a dirt road, i certainly don't. It is a very good arguing point though.

  6. I agree with everyone, driving down a dirt road is not enjoyable for everyone so that definitely gives reason for someone to argue this. It's a great topic though.

  7. I have to say like that others though, I don't know if driving down a dirt road would make me happy. Arguable for sure! Which is what you are going for so good!

  8. Dirt roads make your car dirty and the wind in your hair makes your hair look bad, neither of which would make me happy. Very arguable.

  9. I definitely agree with the second part of your definition, the 1st paper will definitely raise arguments against your definition. a good example its above me.

  10. A lot of people would definitely argue they don't like driving down a dirt road. Connect your simple definition and qualifiers by doing something like, "blowing in your hair, creating a sense of serenity, nature, freedom, and solitude.

  11. This is a different definition to happiness. It's very arguable and it's very different from my definition of happiness because I also was going to write it on happiness.

  12. I like that you took this definition to a new level. Your qualifiers do need a little bit of definition though. But otherwise great!

  13. This is arguable because not everyone would feel happy driving down a dirt road.

  14. This was a very good personal definition. Clearly this is not what everyone would say happiness is, but that is your definition. It is very arguable and that is why it is unique
